One thing that I find funny if that if Unions can't protest on property, does that mean that fundies can't protest at abortion clinics?

When I was in 9th grade, our school bus drivers went on strike for about 4 days and I, along with about 50% of the rest of the students in my district, stayed home.  It ultimately caused the district to lose a good amount of state money based on average daily attendance and teachers couldn't get anything done with only 50% attendance.

I no longer fly with Northwest Airlines because the way they treated employees in their reorganization.  Now they have to recall many pilots because they cut too far and they stranded a lot of customers.

I am a big supporter of unions because they are effective in getting employees better wages and benefits which leads to more productive employees and better service.  But I'm also a northern Minnesotan... no anti-unionists allowed.

...and it would appear that unions would be better than the government in dealing with worker's grievances and would provide more competition for everyone if labor was more supply/labor balenced.

No. I would never support a business over a union EVER. Unions over big business always, NO EXCEPTIONS is my rule. Big business is evil and can never be right.

That seems unfair to me that people who like making and having nice things are evil. I definately think they have too many special rights compared to other economic collectives, governments and citizens, however.

It's not just big business that have unionized workers.

Labor relations, in theory, should naturally be a lot more streamlined when bargaining power is equal.
