Now would be an excellent time to release more of the tapes (if they really exist).

This is politically motivated. I'm calling it right now. Someone is talking to someone and they are pulling strings.

Trump kept talking about this election being rigged. He never talked about who it was rigged for.

This has been mentioned before, but Anthony Weiner is the single greatest piece of evidence that the Clinton's don't murder people that might cause trouble for them.

"Clinton Wants Answers" is CNN's new headline.

I sense a shift in momentum.

Bad or good?

Preferably one where Hillary is calling Bullsh**t for once and not drawing a card.

The strategy now has to be to indirectly get her supporters more fired up than ever against a partisan FBI. Play up the fact that she is always tarnished with baseless crap and always stays resilient.

Could this backfire and give credence to what Hillary has been talking about for years? You know, the actual REAL decades-old conspiracy between international elites to undermine democracy and rig elections and break the economy...the entire Right-Wing Conspiracy?

You do realize, that's not the point.

Huma was under subpoena to produce these documents and did not. If it's thousands and thousands of e-mails, you have no way to quickly vet them all in days.

You really have no choice but to deliberately investigate. This investigation will drag well into the next administration.

All of this nonsense lands squarely on the doorstep of Hillary Clinton, who shouldn't have had a private e-mail server to conduct federal government business to begin with. But let's not let that get in the way of tarring the people investigating her instead.
Which would make sense except for the fact that they have had access to these emails for at least a month. These devices weren't just shat out 11 am today.

Just because they gathered the evidence a month ago doesn't mean that they actually looked at until last night. This scandal involves thousands upon thousands of emails that have already been looked through. They found nothing last time worth indicting over and I'm sure they were less than excited to go through more of them. If there wasn't something that was at the very least seriously concerning, they'd have probably wouldn't have gone public period.

This scandal is huge, but remember, this is the FBI. This will always be a lower priority than, say, stopping the schizophrenic children of Afghan refugees from blowing up dumpsters in Chelsea.

Still. Though. It doesn't take the FBI a month to read even thousands of emails. Just look at how fast the wikileaks thing gets digested.

Even if they won't it will be worth 2-3% margin decrease. From C+5-6 to C+2-4.

That is what every single media outlet in the US (with the honorable exception of Washington Post, Huffington Post and perhaps New York Times) is salivating after, especially so CNN (big time), who helped create the Trump phenomenon to begin with. I think we all know at this point that without CNN ever existing, Rubio would have been the Republican nominee at this point. The reason Rubio eventually tanked in the end was that he lowered his own personality into becoming the 5 year old kindergarten moron that Trump has been every day for the past 17 months. CNN and Repub voters basically thought it was awesome that Trump was a kindergarten bully, but truely abhorred it once Rubio became one too. The double standard people, the double standard.
I personally think that Trump's support comes from some latent desire to establish a monarchy and some sort of idea of greatest through association.

Again, whatever HuffPost says has no effect whatsoever.

I'm worried about CNN, NBC, CBS etc.

CNN, albeit worded less sensationally, essentially says the same.

CBS says the same, emphasizing that Comey broke from long-standing practice on ongoing investigations.

NBC's main story is a fact checking what Trump said as lies.

So this is becoming a story about #SlippingJimmy

They found Hillary's emails on the laptop.

No they didn't.
But keep lying like that and one day you might become the Republican nominee for president.

Well, I stand corrected kind of.  Nobody knows who's emails they are.  It hasn't been announced.  So you're wrong on that.

No, according to reports they know there aren't any e-mails from or to Clinton.
Keep trying.

And this search was illegal and potentially unconstitutional.

If they don't have a warrant, the e-mails have already been acid washed faster than a 9 month abortion.

This entire Comey thing is an abortion.

Lol, not a Trump supporter.  Once again, you have absolutely no facts on what is or is not in the emails and whose they are to begin with, but please keep talking out your a**

That's the point everyone is making genius.

Basically, at this very instance in time, Cimey is basically saying you are being investigated indefinitely for any crime without a warrant.

It's like someone is accused for murder, during the trial it's evident that there is no case against him and when the jury is ready to start deliberations the chief of police appears with a bag bearing of the defendant's fingerprints. And when he is asked what's in there  he answers "I don't know, maybe his lunch, maybe his clothes, maybe the murder weapon".

This is a great analogy.
And it is Deplorable!

if trump wins, this story is still going to be a non-factor, imho.

is surely going to be over-debated, in left-wing AND "expert"/post-mortem circles/books/law studies .....but otherwise......no.

basic question of morality of the electorate and motivation of certain groups and people lying to pollsters or people changing their minds several times .....would be muuuuuuuuuuch more important, imho,
The letter and breaking new graphic of Trump being declared winner of Colorado and thus the election  would go into a time capsule everytime over people lying to pollsters.

could it be that some middle-level FBI agents want to stick it to comey?

otherwise it's strange that the director is only briefed about this weeks and weeks after the initial findings.
I think the big issue is whether there is PC or even RS.
