Well, he can always sue the girls for Battery and Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress. Generally, parents aren't vicariously liable for children's actions but maybe there's some theory of liability that involves the parents' negligent supervision of the children. ...I'm sure Sam could think of some way to get at someone with money...or at least enough money for a lawyer to cover his costs and fees so that these girls will have non-dischargable liens on them for the rest of their lives.
