What an amazing barrage of intelligent conversation from the Democrats in this thread...LOL

Let me sum up the vast array of intellectual wisdom heaped upon this forum by my Democratic colleagues

1. I hate George Bush.
2. I hate George Bush because he's from Texas.
3. I hate George Bush because he's short and from Texas.
4. I hate Texas.
5. He's a manipulated short Texan...who I hate.
6. George Bush hates EVERYONE...except really rich people.
7. If you voted for George Bush you are stupid and were manipulated...by a short Texan.
8. Did I mention that we hate Texans?
9. George Bush hates the environment. He loves smog...he jerks off at the thought of burning trees.
10. My mommy said it's time for me to go play in the sandbox...but before I leave, did I mention that I hate Texans?

Note to Beet...I apologize to you for my last post, because unlike the rest of the Democratic cretins in this thread, you actually attempted to make a coherent commentary in your post.

Beet,

By the way, your comparison of Clinton to Eisenhower is somewhat amusing. About the only thing they have in common is that they both were smart enough to stay out of the way of business, hence they enjoyed solid economic times for most of their terms in office. Of course, giving Bill Clinton credit for the economic growth of the 1990's is kind of like saying Ronald McDonald is the reason your cheeseburger tasted good at lunch.

As for your comments about Clinton "restoring confidence" in America...I think you're way off base there. The DARK AGES in America were in the post-Vietnam, post-Watergate years of the mid to late 1970's when the nation was very much in a state of general malaise...not to mention double digit inflation, double digit unemployment, gas lines, prime interest rates DOUBLE what they are now, humiliated by a fourth rate Third World country like Iran. Then some guy named Reagan came along and restored faith in this nation...made people proud of the country again. Clinton came into office in 1992, after the economic boom of the mid to late 1980's and after the stunningly successful conclusion of the Cold War...so tell me how in the hell the country was in a general malaise after that???

Hughento,

Yes, we need intelligent people who say things like "I hate all people from Texas..."

Hughento,

Ohhhhh...well that's totally different.

"A state like Texas..."
"I hate Texas..."

I never realized that Texas controlled the United States...I guess the Black Helicopters are actually part of the Texas Air National Guard...keep me posted on when Texas plans to invade Arkansas...

Hughento,

Really? You make the genius pronouncement that you "hate Texas" and other similar gems of wisdom...and I'm the one who is stupid?

Well, it's time for me to back down. Obviously I'm no match for you on an intellectual level. But I'll sleep well tonight knowing that intelligent young men like yourself represent the future of our nation. Perhaps when you yourself earn political office some day you can dazzle us with more words of wisdom like you have in this thread.

Perhaps one day people will call out, "Plato, Aristotle, Locke...morons...Hughento is the real genius." "Just remember those brilliant statements from Hughento like..."

1. I'm outlawing Cowboy Hats...because people from Texas like them.
2. Republicans are evil.
3. My third grade teacher was a Republican...and he was mean to me.
4. No soup for Republicans.
5. Did I mention I hate Texas?
6. And in my first official act in office, the United States shall secede from Texas.
7. I'm from Iowa so cut me some slack.
8. Do you want to supersize that combo maam?
9. Did I mention that Republicans hate poor people?
10. Bush is so stupid...cuz he's short...and he's from Texas...and he talks funny...and his daddy was rich...and he's religious...and he's a Republican...

WalterMitty,

I don't know about you, but I never ran around calling Clinton a murderer, drug trafficker or making fun of Arkansas. No way...I did call him a liar, which was firmly established in a court of law, and I did consider the possibility that he was a rapist based on the statements made by Juanita Broadrick, and the supplementary evidence based on his sexual predatory behavior in incidents involving Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Monica Lewinsky and other women.

But I never called him a murderer or said I hate Arkansas.

JohnFKennedy,

Have you finished reading the book? As I told you, Dallek is not the most objective fellow in the world. Please keep in mind that even though he is a historian, he has an agenda...mainly he hates Republicans and loves Democrats.

JFK,

Yeah, I read your comments on Bush...LOL...pretty funny. It's funny when you say it because I know you don't really mean it, but some of the other guys in this thread were serious.

Angus,

You have to cut JFK some slack. He may be a Democrat, but he's several steps higher on the evolutionary chart than some of his left wing brethren. In fact, I have had several civil and intelligent conversations with JFK where he actually debated issues in an objective fashion. He's still a very young man, and I'd be willing to bet that in 20 years when he's our age, he'll be a Republican.

JFK,

I did NOT start the "hate Bush" talk in this thread!!! Go back and read what Hughento and a few other guys said on the first page of this thread. They were SERIOUS...this isn't like when you and I crack jokes. So don't blame me for starting this...I just finished it by making them look so foolish.

JFK,

Well, I obviously took some creative license with their comments in order to enhance the humorous effects of my Top Ten lists...but they really did say some of that stuff. And admit it...you laughed when you read my Top Ten lists.

Angus,

Not really sure what some of your posts mean...you have a sort of Joyce-like quality to your thought process...LOL

JFK,

Good point, but just out of curiousity, which state do you think is more representative of the average American citizen...Massachusetts or Texas?

Steven,

But let me give you a tip from years of experience in dealing with Liberals. The angry rhetoric has NO impact on them no matter how accurate the rhetoric. The BEST way to get them is with humor and sarcasm...and it's easy to do because so many of their statements and beliefs are easily placed in humorous context.

Notice how angry guys like Hughento and Miami have gotten as I hit them with sarcasm the past two days? The biting humor hits them much worse than anger...even if your anger carries factual data.

JFK,

Yes, I certainly had heard that story, just didn't know his real name. Thanks for the interesting factual data.

Angus,

I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be a jerk, but you're the one who started taking potshots at me...

By the way, tell the truth...you're not really a Republican are you? You're just pretending to be so you can have a spot of fun at the expense of Republicans on this forum...am I right?

Angus,

No, I would definitely NOT want to see a 269-269 tie. In fact, I hope to never see another close election in my lifetime after what happened in 2000. If Bush were to win a close election in 2004 where Kerry won the popular vote I would have to listen to four more years of the god awful whining from the leftist friends...wait a minute...come to think of it, I no longer have ANY leftist friends...

As for the Texas/Massachusetts debate, put me down in the "Texas Camp"

JFK,

Actually it's nothing spectacular. It's "Dune" by Frank Herbert. It's actually quite genius, but is often dismissed as silly science fiction. Dune actually could tell us a great deal about the current situation in the Middle East.
