Having her as First Lady would make me look back longingly for the days of Hillary Clinton. At least Hillary has a brain, Theresa is a classic case of a person who has confused social status with superior intellect...

In and of itself, Mrs. Kerry's comment are insignificant in their impact on the election.

However, they are one of hundreds of examples which cumulatively give Kerry a problem.

First, Kerry has a major problem with his record, just as Mrs. Kerry has a problem with what she actually said.  Both do not know how to deal with their past statements/actions and get angry when their inconsistencies are illustrated.

Second, neither of the Kerrys relate well to average Americans, which is understandable as both are rich and aloof from average Americans.

I think Sen. Kerry will find this campaign to be somewhat like chinese water torture as drop by drop he finds he cannot camoflage his actual identity.

Carl,

Wow, that is sooooo on target. Absolutely right.

Which is nothing like lying in a State of the Union Address to start a pre-emptive war that we didn't need to sacrifice 900+ American lives too.

Did Clinton lie to the American people when he said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction?
