If this is to be a megathread to hype upcoming polls please stick to that and not replicate discussion of released polls which have their own sub and posts

That was my goal with its creation.

Unfortunately these topics tend to become duplicate poll discussions after hyped polls are released, forcing mods to split and merge, which I had to to with the new PA poll.  Usually we then lock the hype post to avoid.  So if this is to remain open that's fine but I don't want to have to keep splitting off the post release discussion of polls

In 2012 (just like this time) there were two weeks between the first two presidential debates (with the VP debate in between). Not counting tracking polls, there were four polls released during that period, with the first (from Pew) 5 days after the first debate.  So this weekend is probably a good bet. CNN hasn't done a poll in a few weeks so they are probably up for a new one.

REMINDER: this thread is for discussing polls before they come out. Any posting of actual poll results and/or discussion of polls will be deleted. Discussion of released polls goes into the actual poll board where the polls are posted.

This morning John King said CNN is about to go into the field in OH (presumably after the debate)

For one more hopefully last time.  Any discussion of released polls will be deleted.  This thread is for upcoming polls hinted at in the media.  There is a whole subforum for released polls

once again I remind everyone that discussion of polls once released is to be done in the polls forum, not here. This thread is only for hints and leaks about polls before they come out.

I have made an exception on the guessing. I have had to delete many many many comments that are standard poll analysis, discussion, debunking, junk-calling, etc.  Hence the warnings.  All discussion/analysis/critique of a poll post-release will be deleted in this thread.
