Here is the crazy thing about the core of the Democratic base, they are Democrats (as in registered self-identity as "Democrats").  My predfiction: the candidate that wins with Democrats is going to win the nomination. It's an insane off the wall outside the box notion, I know.

Apparently the Clinton Team's goal is to beat Sanders NH margin which was 22.4, so they need her to do more than just 60

Sanders has a rally in MN tonight. Doors open at 5:30 local (in just a few minutes)  but Sanders will reportedly be in the air on his way to MN when polls close in SC in about half an hour.   Not sure when he gets on stage but presumably after Clinton was declared winner and after she gives her speech. I suspect Sanders will start with congratulation for Clinton, say something about how he started polling at 2% and then do his basic stump speech. Essentially like Nevada.

Here are the silver linings for Sanders. These are the groups where he won or tied....

Independents (16%) +9%
Age 17-24 (7%) +18%
White men (14%) +14%
White college graduates (21%) tied
First time Dem primary voters (13%) +26%
Want next prez to be more liberal (17%) +16%

Cenk Uygur just said that if Bernie wins MA, CO & MN on ST, "I think he's the favorite". Seriously.

I suspect that those at TYT and other uberliberal sites know it is a fantasy, but since the summer they have been so excited to have a real genuine liberal talking about liberal things every day that they want to keep that party going as long as possible, and part of that is keeping up enthusiasm.  They aren't stupid. They know absent some huge game changing event that Sanders is toast. Sanders knows it too.  But the longer he can go the more his message gets out to more people.

Tonight a VT socialist got half an hour of primetime on CNN giving his stump speech. Every day he loses he gets to do it again. Then they get to go into the convention with maybe 30-40%+ of the delegates and change the Democratic party forever.   That is the goal now and they all know it in their hearts.
