It's always about the money. His burn rate was way too high. He was running a front-runner sized campaign and when his donors saw that 0% in the CNN poll it was over. And apparently he didn't want to do the Super PAC/zombie campaign, probably because the candidate essentially hands over all the power to people he can't legally coordinate with.

It will be interesting to see where his staff goes, especially his IA staff. Will Trump snap them up like he did with Perry staff?

One thing for sure, today is a great day for Walker's spokesperson who will no longer have to issue any more of her "What the governor meant..." statements
