Heh, they just aired a Christie ad. First 2016 ad I've seen all year.

Tonight is a near death experience for Christie. If CNN were using the FOX rules (avg of last 5) he wouldn't even be on stage. I think he and his super PAC are going to blow much if not most of their remaining cash between now and the CNBC debate because if he gets relegated down it is probably over for him.

I suspect that with the dropout of Perry CNN has reduced the actual debate time for the JV team.

So before we start does anyone think any of these four people will ever appear in a primetime GOP debate?  And does anyone think this will be the last televised debate for any of these guys? (forums on CSPAN dont count)

My thoughts:
- none will ever be in a primetime GOP debate
- last debate ever for Pataki

I think CNN was using the music from the Pirates of the Carri bean movies for that epic intro.

Caution, for this debate in particular any drinking game that includes 'Reagan' could lead to alcohol poisoning.

Why does Jindal keep using the "European Nightmare" line? Do Republicans really think Europe is a nighmare? Even Euro Disney?

Graham is correct that politicians should stop promising the impossible (like shutting down the gov will end Obamacare), but the rise of Trump shows that GOPers like candidates selling a fantasy
