I have to agree that I doubt Gingrich will attempt a run. I think he’s a very smart man, and he has to know his chances would not be good. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t he have the worst approval ratings of a politician from either party considering a run last time around? Of course things can change, but combine that with him being out of office for a time, and I think Newt’s more content to act as a commentator and let others do the work of actually running.
