Smash, you expect him to tell America that we're in the worst economic troubles probably since the 70s at least? What exactly would that accomplish besides exacerbating the situation and causing the public to go into a media driven frenzy?
Seriously, yes he's lying. Anyone who's paying attention knows that much. But you'd have to be clueless to think that he'd say any otherwise.
I agree that he's lying. But refusing to acknowledge a problem just makes it worse. Besides, the Media is already acting like we're on the brink of Great Depression: Part II. He might as well take action now and level with us.
