Redistricting options

The Governors have the job of redrawing the Senate map, although I would like some input into how we should do this to make it fair to everyone.  The choice:

1.) We can do it now using the voter registration lists.  These lists basically include anyone who has ever registered, active or not.  I have posted two maps that would be possible results from using this list.

2.) We can hold a very short census, and redistrict from that.  We would have to do it before the June filing deadline to use for the upcoming elections.  This would probably result in the fewest citizens being counted.

3.) We can delay redistricting, and just have June Senators run for reelection from the Regions where they were first elected.  We could then hold a longer census and redraw in time for the August midterms.  This would probably give us the most accurate count, but we would still have the Regions for an extra two months

I agree...and that option is winning the poll by a wide margin, so it looks like that is what we will probably do.

Although I would like to hear from the other Governors.
