I guess I have become more conservative as I have grown older. I still consider myself a socialist, but more of a "democratic socialist" rather than someone who wants a revolutionary upheaval of all of our existing social and political structures. I suppose I have just gradually come to understand the natural desire for having a family and a normal life. And of course, there are a lot more career opportunities within the Democratic party than in trying to join or start some fringe movement.
But I hope to God I don't sell out any more than I already have.
