The real Riverdale is a leafy suburbanish part of the Bronx and voted about 80-20  Biden, but a few points to the right of the Bronx as a whole. It is traditionally predominantly [mainstream, non-Hassidic] Jewish, but changing as young couples move in.

I've only watched the show a few times but I've heard its based on the real Riverdale, and the comics were originally based on the real Riverdale though that changed later. The houses on the TV Riverdale wouldnt be out of place in the real one, which is mostly a mix of high rise coops/condos, midrise apartments, and lots of single family houses ranging  to mansions (including where JFK grew up).
