Yes. Besides there is nothing wrong with consensual pornography.

Agreed, with the exception of pornography that is degrading to women.

Roll Eyes

And how exactly do we determine which (adult) pornography is degrading to women, and which isn't?  For instance, the followers of Andrea Dworkin view all pornography as degrading to women -no exceptions.

I'm not saying that pornography that is degrading to women should be illegal - just that I believe it to be wrong.

Perhaps I should repeat the question in hope that you would answer it:

Pornography that shows women in submission, for example. Since I said it should still be legal, each person can decide for him/herself which pornography is or is not degrading to women.

Even gay porn?

Gay (male) porn is not degrading to women. I'm not sure what you mean by that. Can you rephrase it?

And there are those who would argue that all porn shows women in a submissive role, since it is designed first and foremost for the titillation of male sexual fantasies, even if the woman is in the role of a dominatrix.

I disagree - otherwise gay porn would be seen as being degrading to men.

So what's the point in setting up such a standard if it is to be left in the eye of the beholder?

It's like saying it's wrong to drive drunk even though different people might draw the line different places for how high one's blood alcohol level has to be for one to be drunk.

You sexist, it's also quite degrading to men!

Can you elaborate?
