Why do Republicans support Bush? Is it just name recognition or do they want they lose?

It's the bubble. Plenty of the base does not consider Bush wanting to do Iraq all over again a gaffe.

I've seen more internet comments from the right expressing disappointment in Laura Ingraham and Megyn Kelly using the "Democrat talking point" that there were no WMDs in Iraq, than actually pissed at Bush.

There was a recent poll which had something like 65% of Republicans believing WMD's were found in Iraq.
