Mitt Romney:

"Every bill with pork and earmarks needs a veto."

He said it. Everyone remember that if he becomes President.

Romney is a man of his word.  As President, he will keep his word.

Romney is a man of every word. He would have to keep at least one of them.

Yeah, McCain got his ass kicked by Paul. Paul does receive the most money from troops.

McCain owned Romney. lol Romney. He really is sucking tonight.

Haven't been watching, although based upon the comments, I'll probably take a look at it this weekend. But how many times has Hillary Clinton's name came up so far? More or less times than usual? Has anyone managed to weave her into completely unrelated topics?

Giuliani and Tancredo mentioned her randomly in their videos

I see the clueless Romney bashers in this thread are in full flight tonight.

I hope Romney wins the Republican nomination. But he's a walking self-parody, he's a fake and he is sucking tonight. If you can't see that, you are oblivious.

Also, that Buzz guy is a moron.

Yeah, I was looking forward to having Texas be a swing state Sad

Looks like Huckabee is winning this debate with Romney losing. Huckabee was also leading in the latest Iowa poll. If Huckabee stops Romney in Iowa, he stops Romney. Even if Romney wins NH after that, Huckabee will have had SC wrapped up.

YES! Space question! (Important issue for me). Huckabee wants to expand the space program, good. Tancredo wouldn't. F**k him. He's a moron. If we didn't piss away money on this joke war, we could have more money on the space program.

Not so fast, my friend. I, too, am a HUGE space fanatic (hoping someday to get an astrophysics doctorate) but Huckabee expanding the space program means nothing. We need to use the program to learn things about the universe, not for whatever insane things Huckabee would use it for.

Good point. I guess I'm actually more relieved the issue was brought up.

Good. I want Ron Paul to be out of my life on Feb. 5th. Paul's also getting too big of an ego.

Sometimes I wonder how smart the people on this forum are.

Everyone clearly understood at the last Democratic debate that CNN set up the questioning and the audience to make sure and paint Hillary Clinton is the best possible light, along with painting Obama, Edwards and the rest of her opponents as vicious and mean.

This debate, CNN is specifically trying to make Republicans look like nutcases (of which some of the candidates are doing a pretty job at).

P.S.  If you don't believe me, the openly gay general CNN let speak for three or four minutes is the Chairman of Hillary Clinton's Gay Steering Committee.

Expect that to get more play tomorrow than the actual debate.

I didn't see the last CNN debate but if you're right about they gay general thing, then lol @ CNN. I didn't know that but it explains a lot

They did give a hell of a lot of "we know you're not moderate, but are you crazy?" kind of questions, and gave them extra time.  But you want us to spend the entire debate bitching about that instead of taking it as a pointless YouTube debate?

Nah, this was more fun.

Well, aren't all of the candidates trying to move pretty far to the right for the primary and then move to center in the GE? I don't think the questions were that "bad" if the candidates insisted on answering "extremely".
