Should police unions be banned?

Torn. Police Teachers' unions only really seem to exist to protect the "bad apples" while gouging cities for extreme budgets, but the idea of banning any union doesn't sit well with me.

Like fine you want to talk about what the police unions can do with regards to their monopoly on state violence? ok but teacher unions can still do just as much in certain states with regards to funding.

And lets not forget that teachers also have the incredibly powerful loco parentis.
