Profile piece on how Warren's life as a teacher informs her politics and campaigning.

This is a fantastic, extraordinarily thorough article that I think really hits at why Warren is connecting with so many people on the trail, and why I think she could run away with the nomination once she's in a more intimate environment than the first two debates. She's going to clean up in any town hall setting.

Are you seriously trotting out the Native American issue in this thread? Warren grew up hearing family stories about her supposed Native American ancestry; her parents eloped because her father’s family disliked the idea of their son marrying a woman descended from Native Americans. As our cultural understanding of the issue has become more nuanced over time, Warren has worked to clarify her claims and the effect they had (or didn’t have) on her career.

Seriously, complain about the DNA test if you want (and Lord knows I think she’d be polling higher than Biden had she not released it), but saying she’s “lied ... all her life” is flat-out nonsense.

I'm really not sure what Gillum being on the ticket would accomplish. I like him personally, and it wouldn't dampen my enthusiasm, but he lost his statewide election, in a critical state during a wave year for Democrats.

Excellent trolling from Warren-great move.

Her campaign staff seems uniformly excellent -- she hasn't put a foot wrong in months.
