What other districts in the country are so completely under the thumb of a political machine as this? I suppose some of the Long Island Republican districts were, back in the day.

Albio Sires's district, Rothman's district, Payne's district, and Pascrell's district.

Some of the districts you've mentioned are split over several counties, and most "machines" are located county-by-county—especially in the GOP.

And really, the Pascrell seat wouldn't be competitive.  Scott Rumana is probably the best the GOP has there, and he wouldn't be able to win county-wide anymore.
