Holy hell!  A bill of mine hit the floor! 

I apologize for the unusual bill format—this was my first attempt at legislation, penned late last summer.

I kindly ask for a few moments' time to consider Senator Sound's amendment—I would like to read through some previous legislation to see if any of this was already covered in the recently-passed energy bill.

Oh no! I cant believe I didnt check there for this! Im gonna go hit the books to look as well.


EDIT: Took a look, and it isnt in the energy bill just passed. Not to say it isnt elsewhere, but it isnt there.

Yeah, I did the legwork myself, as well, and found that while we now require double glazed windows in all new construction, we don't offer incentves to replace existing windows.

I will accept SoS's amendment as friendly.
