Eh, I'm not convinced Democrats would let Scott Brown win again. That was a perfect storm against an unremarkable candidate, to say the least. He'd have a better shot at governor.
So who are the possible Democrats? Any chance Deval runs himself?
Deval? No. He technically could (there are no term limits), but in his last reelection cycle he pretty much promised this was his last term.
Also, I find it funny you say "an unremarkable candidate" since she is the most likely candidate to get the nod from the dems to run for governor.
As for Tisei, his strengths are really in the Northeast. He also took the Tierney defeat pretty personally (he just conceded, he didn't actually call Tierney, and he has refused all interviews after alleging voter intimidation in Lynn--considering he did worse in Lynn than flipping Hudak who knows). I think he is going for it again, he came within .7 percent, and next time won't be a presidential election.
For Governor, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brown or Baker, but Brown doesn't really have any executive experience. As for the senate seat, the only reason I don't think Brown would do it, is if he wins, he would need so again (4 elections just to try for ONE full term is kinda stressing).
Tisei is finished in MA-06. The scandal will be long forgotten by 2014. Either that or Tierney retires and another Democrat easily holds the seat.
