Unemployment is at 8.1% in the Fall, Democrats have a 230-205 majority in the House and a 50-47 majority in the Senate, and Obama's approval rating is at 44%.

Pretty impossible scenario (the economy would need to crumble), but...



I know Libertas (lol) disagrees, but I don't see Obama losing in a landslide.  It will either be a close election for either candidate or a blowout for Obama.

Impossible for unemployment to be at 8.1% in 2010?  I actually see that as an optimistic scenario and is what the Congressional budget office is projecting(8.2% in December 2012 to be exact).
