For all of you Gore enthuasists, the chances that he'd carry Missouri or Arkansas are always going to be much less than his chances of carrying Tennessee.

Look at the differences between Gore and Kerry among those three states with regards to 2004.  Gore gained nearly 10 points on Tennessee vs. Kerry, whereas the shifts in Missouri and Arkansas were similar to national shifts.
Notice that I also gave him an Oklahoman runningmate and Dick Cheney as an opponent, so that might explain it. Smiley I could correct it to have him win Tennessee as well...but I like the look of that isolated splash of red down there.

Sorry.
I see what you were talking about now...the quote and the link are more than a little misleading.

As for the argument you two are having...part of it is just an exercise in semantics.
But it's worth pointing out that Nixon moved to the center between 1964 and 1968 after moving to the right between 1960 and 1964. I don't believe he can honestly be said to have moved to the center over the whole period.
Gore has moved to the left between 2000 and 2004, will he move back to the center? Possibly. Possibly not. He'll have to if he wants to become President, though.

Oh...I've seen the opposite claimed several times recently...I don't know what the truth is exactly.

Could somebody please tell me how to post a map!  I forgot!  I will delete this post after someone answers me...thanks!

click on this link:

https://uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/evcalc.php

once you have put down your predictions for each state, and pushed the 'Update Map and EV totals' button, there is another button under it near the bottom of the page which says 'Show Map Link'.  click it.  a bubble will show up which will have the web address for your map prediction which you should copy and paste.

let me know if you have any problems.
Interesting. I've always copy-and-pasted other people's maps and changed the code.

I read your first post and wondered, what's LGBT?
But I know now. Smiley

Back on topic...yeah, obviously Santorum will be an utter hasbeen by 2008 unless he can survive against Bob Casey...which, no matter what Keystone Phil et al say, will be an uphill struggle. Though not impossible.

On a slightly different note, I think most would agree that anyone who uses derogatory terms such as “fag” are fairly big TROLLS who deserve to be treated with the utmost contempt

Er... no. The only troll here is you.
Er...no. There are no trolls here. Just some people who still need to work on their communication skills. Three of them.
