What difference does it make whether he pulls 49% or 51% of the two-party vote against a photogenic broomstick? How does the one say something else about the state than the other?

You should either boycott the state anyways just because Feingold is not safe, or not boycott it because at least Feingold could be competitive there, which after all is saying something. And since the first is raising the bar ridiculously high...

They'll be electing Dan Coats... whom we here in Germany have been exposed to as a hectoring lying "diplomat"... and frankly he's a good enough reason to boycott the state.

South Carolina is the "so gay" state. Also, in Idaho, your Senator may or may not be gay, but your Governor is butch.
