At least they had a good excuse, they were busy murdering four people.
I am aware. THe point is the absurdity in heralding these talks as some kind of breakthrough, or well, as newsworthy at all. And especially the absurdity in the fact that for the past two years, the Israeli government wouldn't even talk to Abbas - a man who is, for all practical purposes, their employee.
