So, at my local library's book sale last weekend, I bought a bound copy of speeches from Al Smith's 1928 campaign for $30. The reason it was so expensive is that it was in fact signed by Al Smith! I think it's a rather neat thing; does anybody else have stuff like that?
Very cool.
I have a world atlas from 1938. It's very interesting to see a book that has Manchukuo as a country and doesn't have Austria.
I have a globe from 1906 or 1907.
It doesn't say anywhere, but the maps used date it. Oklahoma is still two territories, but the results of the War of 1905 are shown.
