As we've discussed in two other threads, newspaper endorsements mean no more than used tp at a truck stop. 
I don't think anybody much doubts that.

the Detroit News which endorsed Bush in 2000 also did not endorse either candidate.

Wow...this is the first time in over 60 years that the Detroit News has not endorsed the Republican presidential candidate.

The "swing" newpaper endorsements should be interesting....If any endorsement is going to have an impact on this race, I would look to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, both of whom are unpredictable.


The Tribune has been endorsing republicans since 1952.
With the single exception of Goldie.
