Don't be too optimistic now. 538 now gives Dems only a 74% chance of gaining the house, which is less than their prediction for Clinton winning in 2016. If anything I think this sort of hopeless optimism is what keeps dooming the Dems

538 is showing the dems chance in the house rising, so that is a comforting sign. I still wouldn't speak with the sort of confidence so many people here have though. The polls/predictions will have to work hard to undo the damage to their reputation that was 2016.
