In what way? From Israel’s own government statistics in 2008 had 20.5% of the Jewish population in Israel as being born in Europe or America and just 9% were from Asia/Africa/Middle East. The remainder were born there, but it’s not hard to extrapolate from this that Israel is, ancestrally, European.

Look at that statistic with the fact of the forty out of forty one signers of Israel’s Declaration of Independence I could find birthplaces for, only two were born outside of Europe, one from Yemen one from Palestine.

It is a fact that modern Israel was founded and settled by European Jews fleeing the Holocaust and the devastation it left. So unless you are suggesting that European Jews innately look different than their Christian neighbors or that people from the Middle East look the same people from Russia, I’m not sure what you are calling “blatantly false”.

If it’s just the timeline then you’re being pedantic as from immigration records there was a spike starting in 1933 and stayed elevated more or less till the 1950s so I guess apologies for saying after instead of during.

No, this is not a fact. The Jewish settlement in the then British Mandate of Palestine (or actually even the Ottoman territory that preceded it) is well before WW2 and the Holocaust. Tel Aviv was founded in 1909, and some of the first info about it on Google states that it's marked by "1930s Bauhaus buildings"...why were those built during that time?

The key wave of immigration to it is the Fifth Aliyah, which is considered to have occurred between 1929 and 1939, and please note that it's the fifth, when did the first through fourth occur?

It is thought? I didn’t say Jewish people didn’t exist in Israel before WW2, but that Israel was founded by those who fled during or after it.
