I am confident in the prediction that Adams wins by less than a percent

New Yorkers should be allowed to run elections.

New York needs to ship in some of Maine’s vote counters to show them how a RCV election works

NYTimes had an editorial yesterday calling for the BOE to be abolished and replaced. Unfortunately, it requires an amendment to the state constitution to do so, and I'm sure Cuomo would refuse because he is trash.

AFAIK, Cuomo has no say on NY Constitutional Amendments. They just need to be passed by 2 successive sessions of the legislature and then voted on by the people.

Ah, didn't know that. Maybe it will happen then, but it will take a while.

New York just needs a complete overhaul, the politicians, and their bureaucracy, are all like one fire

So .. when are we expecting results?

Could be in 2 seconds, could be in 2 hours.

But when will we get the results that are the actual real results and not the fair real results with the bogus ballots?? (/s)

Ranked choice is looking like a failure for NYC....

I really did not understand it at all.....

Does it work well in Maine?

How is it a failure? You know normal elections can have a lot of absentee ballots too, right?

(And yes, it does work well in Maine.)

A lot of people are using New York extraordinary incompetent elections to try and prove RCV is somehow flawed, ignoring Maine, San Fran, Berkeley, Oakland, Takoma Park, Cambridge, Amherst, Minneapolis, St. Paul..

Big brain conspiracy idea;

What if this is all De Blasio’s doing so he can declare martial law and remain mayor indefinitely

No I will not be taking questions

What's Andrew Yang going to be doing now that he lost the New York City mayoral Democratic primary?  Try again four years from now?  Attempt another quixotic run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2024?  Or just stick to the private sector?

Mayor of Atlanta is open if he just wants to run for random mayorships

Not that I think Rojas will win but I’m surprised they didn’t include her, she could easily get 5-15% percent from disgruntled progressives
