(I will say though, as an impressionable young 18-year-old who was still a virgin, there was something intriguing/appealing about it. Certainly not the whole thing is garbage, just the 99% of it or so. Like the basic idea behind "negging" (which is sort of the go to example for how repulsive PUA is) is fundamentally okay: you should be able to tease women like you do your male friends, not act like a weird overly nice weirdo with them; that's essentially what flirting is in a nutshell. Now, presenting it as negging is a horrible idea, and it's somehow morphed into just insulting women, which comes dangerously close to red pillism (IIRC, Mystery has disowned "negging" as a tactic). Also there is a wide range of PUAs; that Mystery guy is basically just a nerdy magician who taught himself how to flirt like a normal person, while Roosh (or whatever his name is) is literally a psychotic rapist.)
