You said it wrong...  The biscuits rang up to $7.57, so I gave them 2 five's, but I only got 43 cents back instead of $2.43.  I thought it was incredibly dishonest, but there was a long line behind me so I didn't feel like holding up traffic for 2 singles.  I make enough money that I won't miss the change, so it's alright.

The "drinking water" story arc is possibly the most depressing of the entire Update saga. Human beings should not be revolted by the taste of water. It's really sad what's happened to the guy's palate.

Tensing up and showing more effort at work isn't all that needs to be done. I'm thinking the knowledge deficit is greater than the effort. Remember, Bushie slacked off hard in school. A good portion of boss frustration is likely how undereducated he seems on certain aspects.

He needs to turn off the TV, turn on the AutoCAD, get the textbooks from school out of storage, and study in the evenings, too.

This is the best advice. He slacked off in CAD school, barely graduated with a C, missed half the classes and refused to do the final project. And then he spent 3 or 4 months not doing any CAD at all while he looked for a job and took naps all day. There's only so much learning on the job his boss is going to tolerate.
