I'm so glad that we're not just winning but playing really, really fun to watch football to go along with it.

Portugal's never won anything, Denmark's won a Euro Cup.

That's nice. My point still stands. They've been a force. Is Greece a traditional power because they won something once? No.

In what respect are they a force? To be a force you need to actually win things. They're gotten to the semi-finals of the World Cup like twice. Big deal. They're not a force.

I don't think either team are a "force", but to act like Portugal is any more of a historical force than Denmark because they've been successful a few times in the last decade but have otherwise not won anything is silly.

Also I think the Dutch might be the worst team in the tournament.

Shouldn't have let that goal in, but once it was 2-1 the concentration was back up again and the Dutch went back to being completely shut down. Good performance overall, hopefully we continue to improve.

This is awesome: Mario Gomez has been in possession for twenty-two seconds so far the entire tournament, and has scored three goals in that time. Unbelievable.

Eliminating Italy from the tournament is all in Ireland's hands now, and as we all know, Trapattoni has some experience when it comes to knocking Italy out of tournaments.

Puyol is injured, he's not at the tournament.

Until the Swedish find a way to play Zlatan at every position they're never going to win anything.

Lief, do you already have a gif from the scene in which the referee got the ball kicked into his balls ?

Ask and you shall receive:

If results hold then Russia and Greece will qualify for the quarterfinals. And if that happens and Germany wins Group B (which is likely), then the second quarterfinal will be between... Germany and Greece. Grin Things will be lit on fire.

Greece advancing from the group should be a pretty big boost to SYRIZA don't you folks think?

Let's be honest, both Group A teams will be annihilated by the Group B teams.
