Well, yes, I think that's an accurate statement.

(Also "schwul" just means gay, not fag, like when the Berlin mayor said "Ich bin schwul, und das ist auch gut so." Fag is "Schwuchtel." Of course I don't know what the actual Russian word he said was.)
