Oh, Mitt got 33% in Catholic Dubuque. Rick got 26%. So Mitt is running strong in Catholic areas too.

He was running stronger in that part of the state last time around.

I have to say well done to all of Santorum's surrogates, he's doing far worse in the entrance poll than the real thing. Unless there's some conspiracy either they overpolled Paul supporters or his support wasn't as dedicated as it was 4 years ago.

By the end of the week, boxes and boxes of Paul ballots will wash up on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico.

Hopefully the conservatives coalesce behind Santorum now, to defeat the Mormon.

Uh, Romney and his allies spent literally millions and millions of dollars on ads in Iowa. The idea that he didn't put any resources into the state is completely false.

The Iowa SoS is a Santorum supporter, so let's hope he cooks the books THROUGH GOD'S GUIDANCE in favor of the ONE TRUE CONSERVATIVE, amen.

One of Clayton's just came in, it looks like it was a wash between Santorum and Romney.

Why did Perry do so well in southern Iowa? Do they speak with a twang and say ya'll in those parts?

Romney's lead from 97% of Clinton is 65 votes. If the remaining 3% is the same ratio of Romney:Santorum isn't that just +2 more votes for Romney?

Yeah Inks, but Romney already has +46 of that +47. You're double-counting.

Romney just took the lead on Google, apparently.

...but no change in precincts. Weird.

Santorum is ahead again after Keokuk comes in. Now we just need Clinton's precinct.

And apparently there was a change in Storey county where Romney leads again.

Holy Crap...someone is about to win this caucus with less than 10 votes.

At that point, neither candidate can call it a definitive win, although a virtual tie helps Santorum much more, since Romney theoretically had a lead in the polls.

yeah but I want my two points Angry
