Well no, but if I were religious I wouldn't. I live a healthy lifestyle, so there's no reason. Don't smoke, cut back on coffee, in the past cut out red meat completely, cut out soda completely, exercise daily, and so on. Read in Men's Health a while back that red wine in modest quantities, which is what I consume, is good for you too. If a person gives up anything it should be for health reasons - I mean a change in lifestyle - not because a Medieval pope whose concern was social control said it would be in one's best spiritual interest to do so.

I would normally ignore this kind of thing, of course, because it's beneath intelligence, but sometimes the drama queen stuff goes on and on, spreading, and it gets hard to ignore when it's not contained to one spot, like the Forum Community board. Well, I've been to a _trump rally as well (though I was kicked out about halfway through). Your part of the country differs from the majority of America in that _trump is indeed stronger with young than old where you live, but this isn't the case in the majority of the United States. As for gender, regardless of anecdotal evidence, _trump is pretty consistently at least a tad weaker with women than men (though sometimes it is by much more than a tad).

Regardless, anecdotal evidence doesn't demonstrate a lot; much as exit polls of elections don't tell us anything about the people who don't vote, _trump rallies tell us nothing about people who oppose _trump: how numerous they are, how intense their feelings are, or their demography. _trump's chances of winning the general election are infinitesimally small compared with Cruz's, even though he does better in the general election in your part of the country.
