The place you live sounds pretty white trashy, so that's probably the answer to that question. (Also pro-tip: being arrested from something like speeding or doing drugs or drinking underage doesn't make you "bad.")

Is that what you would teach your children?

Depends how old they are. Mike is in his mid-20s or something. He should have a more mature perspective on these things than the apparent good-bad dichotomy he evidences here.

True. Is it "bad" in that the person who does those things is evil? No. But should it necessarily be encouraged? Nope.
