I'm generally a right-winger in France and I would vote to re-elect Jean-Yves Le Drian (Socialist) as Regional President of Bretagne in 2010 just because he's done a superb job fighting for Breton interests, culture, language and reunification. And because his opponent is an old Chiraco-Villepiniste, a true Jacobin, and a traitor to Bretagne like du Guesclin was in his day.

I would have a hard time voting for somebody other than a Liberal in Canada not because I'm a partisan hack, but just because the other parties are either a) Nazis b) whinocratic socialists c) petty little Anglophobes d) a party led by a stupid crazy lady and candidates who buy into 9/11 revisionism.
