Same thing, with as many thingees as I can think of.
No need to describe the five biggies that most know about (if it's not the case, try Wikipedia)
Here are the minor thingees.
Christian Heritage: Crazy far-right religious fundamentalists.
Canadian Action: Kind of like Pat Buchanan. Anti-globalization/free trade, nationalists, and now has a 9/11 conspiracy theorist swing to it.
Marijuana: Single-issue marijuana legalization party. Only running a handful of candidates, IIRC (less than 10, methinks)
Progressive Canadians: Ex-PCs mad at the Alliance-PC merger. Only 10 candidates, since a lot of the party figures (including the ex-leader) joined the Liberals, and the ex-leader is the Liberal candidate in Cumberland-Colchester-M. Valley (NS).
Communist: The more "moderate" of the two Commies.
CPC (M-L): Stalinists, pro-North Korea. They also quite like Enver Hoxha.
Neorhino: Official joke party. Refoundation of the Rhino Party from the 80s, but I find them less funny than the original.
Libertarian: US-style Libertarian Party, IIRC. Don't know much 'bout them.
