Not entirely sure I get the point of how it works out and stuff, but the multi-party part and AH scenario decided me to give it a try:
Name: Jack M. Duroy Position: Congressman from Colorado Party: Ecology Generation Vice-Presidential Candidate: Will see this later. Does it have to be an actual person, since the presidential candidate is obviously invented. And I don't see a lot of moderate centrist ecologist politicians in the US that aren't jokes.
Platform(include major issues at least):
Affirmative Action: I oppose most affirmative action programs, with certain, special exceptions, made on a case by case basis.
Abortion: Pro-choice. Although not making a huge campaign issue out of it, far from it.
Stem-Cell Research: Support federal funding for it.
Gay Rights: Support civil unions for homosexual couples and equal rights regardless of sexual preference.
Second Amendment: Support mild gun control law, such as background checks and so forth.
Drug War: Support the idea of a mild drug war, but disagree with its current conduct. Will look into decriminalizing soft drugs.
Election Reform: Support proportional representation, national primary day in May or early June etc.
Illegal Immigration: Support amnesty for illegal immigrants who have found work and have no past criminal record.
Economic issues
Social Security: Support public health care system and oppose privatizing health care.
Education: Increase funding for all education levels, with emphasis on post-secondary education. Would support more scholarships.
Minimum Wage: Support raising it in current situation.
Energy Independence and the Environment: Ratify Kyoto treaty, look into clean, viable, and sound energy alternatives to oil, oppose ethanol etc. Major issue.
NASA -Space Exploration: Support some more funding for NASA, but the current situation mandates funding in other directions.
Foreign Policy: Oppose war in Iran, Iraq and so forth. Support use of military force for humanitarian and peacekeeping primarily, but also defense if we/our allies are attacked.
Support(list which states your party has "major" support in): Colorado California Alaska Oregon Washington Maine a few New England states New York and a lot of urban areas and college areas
