The Socialists, in their generosity, are getting numerous PCF mayors in the 9-3 "primaried" (meaning, PS opposition to a PCF incumbent). The Communists have a long shot chance at gaining Le Havre (which isn't very likely). They also have a real shot at picking up Dieppe or Vierzon from the right.
