Well, we do suceed the Governor if he's not capable of carrying out duties. In both our cases, that doesn't seem very likely.

I see it as the first stone in the river to higher offices. That being said, I will serve my entire term and will not engage in any campaign for any national/federal office during my term.

My fellow citizens,

I would first of all like to thank those who voted in the referendums recently. However, participation is still very low, both referendums had less than 50% of voters turnout, and a few of these that did not turn out have important roles in Atlasian politics. I will work with Inks.LWC over the next few days to finalize the re-establishment of a Superior Court in the Mideast and we shall decide on appointments to this new institution in the next few days. It is my most sincere hope that this Superior Court will provide a much-needed boost to citizen activity and participation in this region. I shall keep you up to date on developments on this issue.

On a side note, I would like to thank MasterJedi, Al, and PolNut for participation in the current Mideast Senate debate and I would like to thank Inks.LWC for being a great governor to work with.

As always, please feel free to ask any questions or address concerns.

Thank you,

Hashemite
Mideast Lt. Governor

My fellow citizens,

Now that the electoral frenzy is over, I would like to congratulate Al for his election to the Mideast Senate seat and I am confident he shall represent our interests well in the Senate. I would also like to thank all the Mideast voters that voted and participated in this election. The voter turnout was remarkably high for such an election, and I hope it shall continue this way in future regional and federal elections.
On another note, I would like to inform citizens that MasterJedi of Wisconsin has been nominated by Inks and myself to serve as judge in the new Mideast Superior Court. I ask all remaining voters to vote on his confirmation in this job.

Thank you once again,

Hashemite

My fellow citizens,

I would like to firstly thank our current 9 voters who have turned up to vote on the current constitutional amendment, bringing participation as of now, 40% to a current nationwide high. I, of course, ask every 13 remaining voter to vote! It's your duty and please do it!

Thanks again,

Hashemite

And it appears that as of now, I will be running un-opposed for re-election. I shall however still campaign as people deserve to hear from every single candidate. I personally feel that my first term has been successful, I have tried to do my best even with limited powers as Lieutenant Governor. I come here today though, to talk primarily of my ballot proposition on the institution of secularism in the Mideast.  This is not a radical atheist bill as some may wrongfully assume. I will continue to support private education that may include religious schools, but any government intervention into religious institutions shall be ended and vice versa. I of course encourage all of you to support this proposition, but I shall be more than happy to take questions from citizens on the various details related to this bill. Lastly, I encourage a large numbers of Mideast citizens to come out and vote on this proposition and of course in the gubernatorial election. I would also like to wish Inks and HappyWarrior the best of luck in the contested race for governor! May the best win!

Firstly I would like to thank the Governor and candidate PolNut in their respective endorsements for my unopposed re-election bid. I will of course work happily again with Governor Inks if he is re-elected.

I would like to remind all Mideast voters to vote in the upcoming regional elections! I wish to see some high turnout !
