Speak (2004). K-Stew was surprisingly good, although the character in the movie fits her usual profile.

Yeah, the sex abuse case is ancient news. There's a lot to it, no one approves of it, but there is a book coming out soon, if it's not already out, by the lady who it concerned. She has asked on many occasions after the civil suit was filed in the middle '80s that it be tossed. Old news, and certainly nothing to connect to his work.

That's an absolutely and utterly despicable attitude.

The Atlas Forum is living up to its tradition!

My friend's sister and I wanted to make fun of Kristen Stewart so we watched "Cake Eaters" which was predictably horrible. When I got home, I recovered lost brain cells by watching the Swedish version of The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo.

I watched House at the End of the Street with the great J-Law earlier this week, and it was really good as a horror/thriller movie. Some have said it's really predictable, but I'm not pedantic when it comes to movies and I didn't see the plot twist coming. And J-Law is the best as always.

I watched two Mexican movies: Después de Lucía and Niñas Mal. The latter was a good comedy which I really enjoyed, the former was a very serious and powerful treatment of bullying which was also very good. I liked how it started (and ended) in Puerto Vallarta, it was pretty cool to see.

Not 'last movie' I saw, but I really recommend watching Después de Lucía, Mexico's 2012 foreign film Oscar candidate. I really liked it overall.

I have to agree with King here. I found Spring Breakers horrible, though I can understand why some would like it.

I started When in Rome because I like seeing movies taking place in cities I've visited, but I didn't finish it partly because I was annoyed at the implausibility of the taxi ride from the Pantheon to St Peter's and back to the Trajan's Forum or the use of a fake 'Fountain of Love' when, yeah, there's the f-ing Trevi Fountain.
