Except that he was talking about the Front populaire. The RadSocs were original members of the Front populaire.

Abolishing the office of SOIA remains long past overdue, but people maintain their stupid quixotic attempts at making a useless position do something.

I see it as a useful position if you have someone wonky enough sitting in it. We will see if it can be made useful soon by a veteran with a great deal of experience in domestic policymaking.

If it doesn't work, I hope that you'll finally come around to abolishing it. It's long overdue.
