I will go against the grain and say Clinton would do better, even if she might not win. Her biggest disadvantages in campaign '16 would be in question:

1. The Comey Letter. While another Clinton run would surely re-dredge up all the investigations against Clinton again, there's no guarantee that the next FBI director would suddenly announce that she is under criminal investigation 11 days before the election. You have no idea how damaging that was to Clinton. And even if it did happen, it would be the Trump FBI so they would have less credibility.

2. Democratic overconfidence. The next time, the Democrats would not be so overconfident, as shown by the replies on this thread. This was one of the biggest handicaps faced by Clinton in campaign '16. Had she thought she was going to lose, she would have changed her strategy and campaigned in places like Wisconsin more. Besides, Americans like underdogs, even Hillary (see: New Hampshire '08). Simply flipping this one factor alone might win her the election.
