To be fair, Jones was asked this by Chuck Todd on Sept. 27 when he probably didn't think he had a chance, and just gave a boilerplate "I support the status quo" answer. But it's true that Democrats should nominate abortion moderates or pro-lifers in places like AL, MS, LA and AR. It's a 20 week ban. The UK has a 24 week ban. I'm strongly pro-choice and even I think that's reasonable.
