Regardless, its the first time a major foreign power has possibly flipped a U.S. election as the result of what was a deliberate, long-term attack on our election infrastructure. An autocratic state exploited the fact that there are deep divisions in a democratic state, as a result of our competitive party system, to launch attacks on parts of the democratic state's populace without facing a unified backlash. This points to a structural advantage in autocracy not seen in recent history.
