I'm all for Warren for Treasury if she wants it. Otherwise I'm for Cordray.

Doug Jones as AG would be good, assuming he loses to Tuberville. He and Biden are personal friends, and he has got great civil rights credentials. Plus, there’s a lot of good will in the party towards him after he pulled off his win.

Whoever ends up as AG is going to have to make some big decisions around Trump, and could either end up as a huge hero or huge villain (most likely both to different people).

Doug Jones could definitely get bipartisan support for AG and give Biden a solid ally. I'd also expect Preet Bharara's name to get floated for AG, although that's purely speculative.

Agreed on both fronts. Jones, Bharara, and Sally Yates strike me as the front runners for AG.

On the whole, that strikes me as being a pretty decent list. Does anyone know where Lael Brainard stands policy wise? I can't really find too much.  I'm not sure how likely it is, but I'm holding out hope that Biden picks someone with progressive bona fides for Treasury.  Sarah Bloom Raskin or Richard Cordray would be ideal.

She's mostly a moderate but one who supports progressive policies like the Community Reinvestment Act & reform efforts that would encourage more lending in low- & moderate-income markets.

That's encouraging. The pick not being someone like Jamie Dimon or some other Wall Street executive is pretty much my main litmus test.
