The timing is suspicious, Trump wants the election cancelled and then fellow GOP-er Comey pulls this--I think there was some bribery or string-pulling involved. Either way the damage will start showing in the next polls, they'll probably flip to Trump +4 before this is over.

It was a parody so it's not exact, but the entire basis of your statement is "American voters are idiots" which is a verbatim quote.

The vast majority of people I have come across are that, they will believe whatever their preferred news station headline says, without reading into the entire article. Those people are idiots, and that makes up all but a very tiny number of people I've known.
